2011 CHILDREN’S CLAY CLASSES
Beginning Saturday, October 1, 2011, from 10am – 12pm and 1pm – 3pm, ANCIENT ECHOS ARTS will be offering children’s clay classes for 9-13 year olds. The classes are 2hours in duration and 4 weeks long so this first session will end on October 22, 2011. The classes will be held at Parlmont Plaza, 19 Alpine Lane, Chelmsford, MA.
The classes will cover fundamental hand-building techniques including pinching, coiling and slab forming with specific projects utilizing those newly acquired skills. All work will be in high-fired stoneware and will be food safe. All materials used are non-toxic. The four week 2 hour class will cost $195 per student and includes a $25 materials fee. Registration is limited to 4 students per class.
Sharon Levy is the owner, proprietor, artist and educator for ANCIENT ECHOS ARTS. She has been teaching students from 1st grade thru high school as well as being an adult educator for over 40 years. In addition, she is a certified master teacher. Ms. Levy is an active ceramic artist showing her work in local and out of state galleries as well as her studio, ANCIENT ECHOS ARTS.
